Ammoniumhexafluorfosfaat

Ammoniumhexafluorfosfaat (NH₄PF₆) is het ammoniumzout van hexafluorfosforzuur. De stof komt voor als een corrosief en hygroscopisch wit kristallijn poeder, dat goed oplosbaar is in water.

Synthese

Ammoniumhexafluorfosfaat wordt gesynthetiseerd door reactie van fosforpentachloride, ammoniumchloride en waterstoffluoride:
